May competition
STRANGE PETS You may have a strange pet or a group of strange ones. Write either about one or a group of them in not more than 400 words. Address your entries to;— Tikumu, “The Press,” P.O. Box 1005, Christchurch. The closing date is May 31.
Rules. — Write your name, age and address on the first page in the top
right hand corner. Ask an adult to sign your entry stating that it is your own work.
Prizes. — Gift tokens of $lO will be awarded to the two best entries in these three age groups:— Seven years and under; eight years to 10 years; 11 years and over. A selection of winning entries will be printed on the children’s page.
