Fletcher makes placement
PA Auckland Fletcher Holdings, Ltd. ha placed 400,000 ordinarv shares with three institutions at a price of 225 c a share.
After a placement of 300,000 shares in March, the 671,026 shares which the directors could dispose of without offering them first to existing shareholders on a rights basis, have now all been sold.
The latest placement included 28,974 shares, not subject to this restriction, which have been taken up by the employee share purchase scheme. The latest shares sold will not participate in the 1977 final dividend.
The placements, which have further reduced the overseas shareholding content, have taken paid up capital to $32,300,000.
