Quick sale.— Ten silver statuettes of the Grand National winner. Red Rum. advertised at 91850 each, were all sold within 15 minutes of opening time by the crown jewellers. Garrard, of Regent Street, London.
Show jumping.— The Waikato horse and rider combination of Calico Joe and lan Campbell won the New Zealand Horse Society's [show jumping grand prix with [a faultless display at Claude[lands. Campbell also rode to victory in one of the table A contests for A grade horses.
