CARNIVAL ATMOSPHERE AT NEW BRIGHTON

Easter Saturday at New Brighton will certainly have all the fun of the fair. Entertainment for everyone will be provided by the Southern Jazz Men and the New Brighton Silvr Band. The Radio Avon road show will be present, with on air situation reports including traffic directions, and general information. The road show will also be providing non stop disco sound with Ric Ditchburn on microphone. Prizes will be given away throughout the day, and there will be over 1000 balloons and free sweets for the

children. Candy Floss, a Ferris Wheel, and a Merry-Go-Round, set the scene for a fun day for all the family. The recommended routes to get to New Brighton are: COMING FROM THE CITY — take New Brighton road or Pages road. COMING FROM SOUTHERN END OF CITY (SYDENHAM, SPREYDON, CASHMERE, ETC.) take Bridge street, Estuary. IF COMING FROM NEW BRIGHTON ROAD follow the parking signs from Pratt street.
