An attractive lean-to-glasshouse, which provides home owners with extra living space in addition to a conservatory for growing plants, has been produced by an Auckland company, Edenlite Garden Products.
The lean-to can be attached to the lounge or kitchen of any house for use as either a con« servatory or sunroom. It can also be attached to the outside wall of a backyard building, or used as an extension to an existing glasshouse for growing vegetables, fruit or flowers throughout the year.
By adopting the lean-to as a lounge or kitchen extension, home-makers can relax in the peaceful sur-
relax in the peaceful surroundings of an indoor flower and plant .haven. In winter months it provides warm and wind-free protection from bad weather. Edenlite lean-tos are mde in two sizes, 6ft by Bft and 6ft by 12ft. Both models are supplied in kitset form and are easily assembled. They are durable and require no maintenance. The all-aluminium frame will not rust, rot, warp, and does not require painting. Other features include louvred ventilation, ten-sion-sealed glazing, condensation channels and a draught-free sliding door. The door can be fitted to either end of the glasshouse.
