Roads board allocations
PA Wellington Christchurch City has received a total allocation of $1,500,200 for 1977-78 from the National Roads Board, but the $36,000 South New Brighton bridge project has had to be deleted for the year because of the shortage of the board’s funds. Kaiapoi Borough will get $56,900, Lytelton, $51,200. and Riccarton, $77,000. Heathcote County will get $78,700, Paparua, $200,600, and Waimairi, $358,600, but no new works have been approved for any of the three counties.
