Ellesmere dog fees to rise
The Ellesmere - Malvern | Hydatids Authority has de-' cided to increase its dog registration fees by $l. The fee for pet dogs will be $ll, and for working dogs $9. It w-as decided at the meeting yesterday that administration problems would be too great to have a range of fees to cater for extra categories such as! soayed and unspayed bitches, as has been the case with some local authorities! this year. The question of the employment of a dog ranger was also mooted, but the problems of finding the salary, a ’’ehicle, and the finance to buy the necessary equipment, caused the authority to leave the matter open in the meantime.
