Envelope size not exclusive
Little disruption is expected when postal items are charged on a metric basis from October, according to the marketing manager of DRG Stationery (Mr R. G. Ritchie). Mr R'tchie said there had been some concern that envelopes not within the "Post Office standard” size I would become obsolete, but t' is wso highly unlikely. He said that not all I material posted would be suit-1 able for posting in the! standard size envelopes — 90 x 140 mm (3| x s Jin) to I 120 x 235 mm (4 x 9{in). | The standard sized enve- i lopes will attract a lower, postal rate than non-standard . envelopes. The conversion to metrics for mail was announced by
