A two-bedroom house in Carlton Mill Road was sold l at auction tor $44,000. Ihe property has a 1974 Govern-' ment valuation of $36,000. It is on a section of 20.9 perches on the bank of the Avon River. The auctioneer was Mr C. M. Robertson, of Sherris and Robertson. Ltd. A four-bed-room brick house at 78 Colombo Street, Beckenham, was passed in at $25,500 at auction. The property, with a 1974 Government valuation of 822,000. includes a double garage and workshop., The auctioneer was Mr P. J.| Cook, of Simes and Com-i ipany, Ltd.
