MIXED N.Z. SHAREMARKET
Special sales and a parcel of 100,600 Challenge shares helped create a high turnover on a mixed New Zealand sharemarket yesterday. The most notable of rises was 8c by Alex Harvey, but Odlins fell 1c despite a healthy interim report—probably in reaction to the announced premium issue. Newspapers Were firmer, and transporters, timbers, and wines and spirits firms mixed.
