Senior bank post

Mr T. S. Tennent, deputy manager of the Bank of New Zealand at Christchurch, has been appointed deputy regional manager of the B.N.Z. (United Kingdom and Europe) in London. Mr Tennent was bom in Greymouth and educated at Picton High School. He joined the Bank of New Zealand at Picton in 1952; later he served at Nelson.

He was transferred to Sydney in 1967 to became assistant manager there, and in 1971 returned to New Zealand as the planning control and marketing manager of overseas branchesHe moved to Christchurch in 1974.

Mr Tennent will take up his London appointment in mid-April and will be replaced in Christchurch by Mr W. W. Ansell, formerly senior manager of the Bank of Western Samoa.
