B.H.P. loan arranged
NZPA Melbourne Broken Hill Proprietary Company, Ltd, said it has arranged borrowings of sAustB2.oM in Australia and overseas.
The company said S42M has been borrowed from “a certain group of Australian banks” at 12.5 per cent, and S4OM from a group of American banks with interest linked to the New York prime rate. ‘‘Part of the Australian loans and the whole of the U.S. loans have been drawn idown,” B.H.P. said.
