Curious Cove congress
More than 150 people have enrolled for a New Year congress to be held at Curious Cove near Picton between January 3 and 8. Organised by the New Year Congress Society, the meeting will discuss topics such as New Zealand’s reputation trade unions and i the law; and nuclear arma- ; ments and New Zealand’s forieign policy.
The congress convener (Mr Harry Evison) said that the congress has no political affiliations and its sole aim was to provide a forum on pressing problems facing New Zealand.
The society hopes that the congress will become an annual event
