Jackpot of $l200 trip
A trip to Fiji valued at SI2OOI will go to the winner of a threerace jackpot at the Metropolitan Trotting Club’s meeting at Addington Raceway on January 22. All told, patrons will be eligible for prizes valued at more than $6OOO, said the vicepresident of the club, Mr M. L. Taylor, convener of the subcommittee which has arranged the night in conjunction with Trans-Tours, Ltd. Should more than one person win the jackpot the winner will be decided after an elimination contest to be run by Selwyn Toogood. Other prizes include all-paid visits to holiday resorts in various parts of New Zealand. Full details of the method of distribution of the prizes wilt be announced next week, said Mr Taylor
