Surgery for Dandyman
Special correspondent Dunedin Dandyman, winner of 13 races, is tu undergo surgery for the removal of a splint bone from his near fore-leg. An X-ray has disclosed the splint as the source of persistent filling in the leg. The six-year-old Gate Keeper—Fine and Dandy entire has won at Ashburton and Wyndham in five starts this season in spite of the ailment.
