N.Z. schools athletics team plan
PA Hamilton New Zealand’s secondary schools athletics team of about 30 for a proposed meeting against school representatives from Queens’ land, New South Wales and Victoria is expected to be announced at Christchurch today. Form at the national schools championships at Hamilton over the week-end was studied by the selectors, Messrs A. Bennett (Christchurch Boys’ High), T. Schagen (Kaitaia College) and M. Goodacre (Fraser High, Hamilton). The meeting, subject to confirmation on the announcement of Government assistance, will be held at Queen Elizabeth 2 Park, Christchurch, on January 22 and 23.
