Rarotonga flights
i PA Auckland ij Air New Zealand will exitend its service to the Cook Islands after the opening I next year of the new Tourist I Hotel Corporation hotel at Rarotonga. The airline, which has a ( financial interest in the S4M , hotel, has announced the ’ introduction of an Auckland-Rarotonga-Honoiulu return flight in June. The hotel will ’ open in April. The airline will 1 increase to three its numbei of flights to Rarotonga each ‘ week. 1 The airline’s chief execu- ! five, Mr M. R. Davis, said the new service would be viable : because of mounting traffic ■ between New Zealand and • the Cook Islands, and be- - cause of a growing aware- ’ ness of Rarotonga in America.
