Better outlook seen
The outlook in the Australian building industry, although not satisfactory, is a great deal better than it was twelve months ago, the chairman of Jennings Industries, Ltd, (Mr Jennings) said at the company’s annual meeting. “Encouragement for mining and rural activities would be a major help to economic recovery and provide a basis for further improvement to the building industry,” he said.
