NZPA Washington. The New Zealand pacer. Young Quinn, finished third in the $25,000 True Duane Pace at Meadowlands Track. New Jersey, on Saturday night. Young Quinn, driven by Joe Marsh and starting from the outside of the six-horse field, rushed to the lead from the start. The gelding still had a handy lead as the field headed into the stretch but he faded in the run to the line and was overtaken bv (he champion mare. Silk Stockings, and Meadow Blue Chip. Silk Stockings, timed at Imln 55.45ec. won by a length, with Young Quinn three lengths away, third.
