Applicants should be competent in both COBOL and FORTRAN programming languages and be capable of demonstrating strong interests in systems design work. Applicants might also be expected to have strengths in statistics and/or numerical computation. Experience in process control and or data reduction would be an advantage. The appointee will be responsible to the Systems and Programming Manager for the collection,, development and maintenance of software applicable to the research interests of the University. The appointee will be expected to maintain a software reference facility and to provide a consultancy service for research students of the University. The University’s salary scales cover the following ranges: Grade I Systems Analyst — $8558 - $9753. Grade II Systems Analyst — $9961 - $11,169. Senior Systems Analyst — $11,560 - $12,518.
