Woman hurt in van crash

A woman who was injured yesterday when the van she was in left the road and ran into a ditch in Quinns Road, Shirley, is now reported in a comfortable condition in the Princess Margaret Hospital. She is Merihi McGrath, of 44 Rochester Street, Linwood, who suffered moderately serious chest, arm, leg, and internal injuries. Mrs McGrath was taken to Christchurch Hospital by a St John ambulance, but was later transferred to the Princess Margaret Hospital.
