Baby photo contest
Sarah Hills and Paul Musson won the final heat of the baby photograph contest organised by the Bush Street Kindergarten establishment committee. Although there have been only four heats in the contest, and two winners from each heat, the committee has decided to include the four nearest over-all runners-up in the final placings. The runners-up were: Anne-Marie Gibson, Shirley Lee-Anne Andrews, Cindy Holland, and Monica Powell. Voting closes on October 13, and the final placings will be announced on October 15. There are eight girls and four boys in the final. The photographs are being displayed at the New Zealand Fanners’ Co-op. store at Rangiora. The final heat raised $158.55 for the committee’s kindergarten fund.
