Mistake by judge

The photo-finish of the race showed that Bronte Regal had I finished second by the barest i of margins. An inquiry was held by the stewards into the incident. After viewing the print of the finish and hearing from Mr McCoubrey it was found that Mr McCoubrey had failed to place the horses in their correct order. It was decided to fine Mr McCoubrey $l5.
