Contamination in milk
jPA Dunedin ! Three separate charges of selling milk containing offensive substances were admitted in the Magistrate's Court at Dunedin yesterday |by the Dunedin milk treatIment station. ■ Mr G. J. Seeman, S.M., convicted and fined the station $2O on each charge, with soli- ; citor’s fees of $49.50 and analyst’s fees of $9O. A bottle of milk sold on April 9 contained a darkgreen mould or algae substance; a bottle sold on April 13 contained a mould or algal growth and other organic and crystalline matter, and a third bottle was found ,to contain an aluminium pie container.
