Seabridge New Zealand Ltd. has taken over the local management of the services of three continental lines. Seabridge regional offices are being established in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin. In other ports, the company has appointed agents, the managing director (Mr P. McCallum) said. Seabridge will assume responsibility for all northbound and south-bound conventional shipping activities in this country, and for Hapaglloyd (Germany), Nedlloyd (Holland) and Messageries Maritimes.
