Telethon again
Television Two plans another telethon next year. A decision to this effect was made at a meeting of the board of TV2 last week. Don Hutchings, who organised the first two telethons, will again be in charge. The first telethon in 1975, for the St John Ambulance Association, raised almost $600,000. This year, the telethon raised SI.SM for the National Children’s Health Foundation.
Neither the charity nor the date of next year’s telethon has been set.
