The Australian Federal Government has no plans to set up nuclear power stations in Australia in the foreseeable future, the National Resources Minister (Mr Doug Anthony) has said in Canberra.
Tennis.—Vijay Amritraj (India) has beaten Brian Teacher (United States) to win the Hall of Fame tennis championship, 6-3, 4-6, 6-3. 6-1. In an allAustralian doubles final, Colin Dlbley and Chris Kachel defeated John James and Paul Kronk, 5-6, 6-4, 6-4.
