Buddhists' 'suicide'
A Vietnamese Buddhist; movement has said it has' received a report from Ho' Chi Minh City (formerly | ! Saigon) that a dozen' Buddhist monks have burned | themselves to death to protest against alleged Communist persecution. A spokesman for _ the delegation to France of ~ the Vietnamese Buddhist ! Church said the mass suicide took place at Duoc Su monastery in the Mekong Delta, south of the former) South Vietnamese capital, on! November 2 last year.—l Paris.
