Reel have for burglars

PA Wellington Nine films with “sex flavoured” titles have been stolen from a commercial film distributor’s premises in Wellington. Thieves broke into the premises of New Zealand Film Services, between 5.25 p.m. on Tuesday and 6.30 the next morning and stole nine films with titles like “Nine Ages of Nakedness,” “Sexy World by Night,” “My Bare Lady,” and “Secrets of a Windmill Girl.”

Mr Barry Usmar, the distributor said yesterday that the films were worth $5OOO, and “are only normal commercial films with sex-flavoured titles.”

Two week-ends ago the premises were burgled and a number of films taken. However, it appears the burglars did not take all the spools for the titles they chose—so it was back for a return visit.
