Blockhouse draws
PA Auckland Blockhouse Bav and North Shore United wound up their national soccer league programme for the season when they battled out e 1-1 draw at Newmarket Park. The point Blockhouse gained moved it to fifth place on the league ladder, to give it a share of the prize money; but the point that Shore gained, while not enough to get it into the prize money, ensured that last year’s champion. Trans Tours United (Christchurch) finished the season tn a somewhat humiliating eighth place.
