Miss Pamela Gruber, the director of Christian World Service, the overseas aid department of the National Council of Churches, has been appointed education administrator of Christian Aid in Britain. Miss Gruber, who will take up her appointment early next year has been in New Zealand since October, 1972, She has been a member of the Government Committee on External Aid and Development. Christian Aid. a department of the British Council of Churches, is one of Britain’s major aid organisations. As education administrator, Miss Gruber will lead six education specialists, who will work mainly in educational institutions, universities, and schools. She will also work closely with the department’s 40 field staff in Britain.
