Lauder Lumber for U.S.

Special Corres. Wellington Lauder Lumber, which was successful at Hutt Park on Thursday night, will dn his future racing in the United States. The six-year-old has been purchased by a director of the Central btandardbred Agency, Mr Biian Meale, and on Monday tie will fly out to the United States to join other members of the team prepared by a codirector, Charlie Hunter. Hunter is at present in NewZealand for a short time. At six. Lauder Lumber was raced and trained by his Waimate owner Mr J. Hamilton. His win last week was his third. He had previously been successful at Hutt Park, winning at the February meeting last season. By Lumber Dream, Lauder, Lumber had shown promise, and apart from his three wins he has run up a good number of placings. He showed his best form from mobile starts. Also on Monday’s flight will be the former Templeton pacer, Rostriever Child. Trained by Jack Carmichael, Rostriever Child, also assessed at C 3. will do his racing in the United States from the Hunter stable. These two will be joined on the trip out of the country by Slane, Royal Sceptre and Dazza. Bought some time ago by the C.S.A.. Slane. an open class trotter, raced at last season s Inter-Dominion carnival. Royal Sceptre reached C 5 rating for Denis Nvhan and Dazza (C2> is a half-brother 1o the Roy Pu rd ontrained Hill High.
