_ __Public Notices THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT, 1953 KAIKOURA COUNTY DISTRICT SCHEME PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF CHANGE NO. 1 PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to a resolution of the Kaikoura County Council made on Friday the 20th day of August, 1976, the following Change No. 1 has been recommended for opproval under the Town and Country Planning Act, 1953.

CHANGE NO. 1: This change relates to subdivisional standards. The proposed amendments increase minimum areas and frontages for residential lots where sewage reticulation is not available and converts imperial standards to metric standards. The minimum area for front and rear lots in unsewered areas will be raised to 1012 sq. m (174 acre). PLACES FOR INSPECTION: The Change has been deposited in the following places and is there open for inspection without fee to all persons interested therein at any time when the following places are open to the public: 1. Tiie County Offices, The Esplanade. Kaikoura. 2. Messrs Davie, LovellSmith and Partners, 198 Hereford St, Christchurch. 3. The Public Library, The Esplanade, Kaikoura. OBJECTIONS to the Change or to any part thereof shall be in writing on the Form E prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be lodged at the offices of the Kaikoura County Council, The Esplanade, Kaikoura, not later than 4 p.m. on Monday, October 11, 1976. At a later date, every objection will be open for public inspection and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objections will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the County Clerk in writing within the period of which public notice will be given.
