Forecast: Marlborough: Light northerlies predominating; occasional rain; long fair periods developing in most areas.
Nelson, Buller, North Westland: North-easterlies, fresh at times; rain becoming scattered late in the day; moderate temperatures. South Westland: Moderate north-easterlies; scattered rain developing; moderate temperatures. Canterbury: Moderate easterlies; ‘cool, with periods of rain. Outlook: Unsettled in Canterbury; cloudy in the west.
