Public Notices THE NORTH CANTERBURY ACCLIMATISATION SOCIETY COUNCIL VACANCIES NOMINATIONS are invited, to reach the undersigned not later than August 31, 1976. from registered members of The North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society, to fill vacancies occurring in respect of the Society’s following Sub-districts: — (a) The City of Christchurch and Boroughs of Lyttelton and Riccarton and the Counties of Waimairi and Heathcote. ONE MEMBER (b) The Counties of Ellesmere, Springs, Halswell, Paparoa, Mount Herbert and the town districts of Leeston and Southbridge and the Borough of Akaroa. ONE MEMBER (c) The Counties of Selwyn, Malvern and Tawera. ONE MEMBER (d) The Counties of Amuri, Waipara, Cheviot, Kowai, Ashley and the Town District of Amberley and those portions of the Nelson and Marlborough land districts which lie within this Society’s boundaries. ONE MEMBER (ej The Counties of Oxford, - Eye, Rangiora and the Boroughs of Kaiapoi and Rangiora. ONE MEMBER Nominations must indicate the district within which the nominee resides and in respect of which he is nominated. All such nominations shall bear the signature of the Nominee, the Proposer and the Seconder, who must all' be registered members of the North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society. A ballot for the election of members to fill the above vacancies will be held not later than 14 days after the Society’s Annual General Meeting on November 24, 1976.
