PANEL GAME
What generation gap? There is none in “The Generation Game” where young and old compete in pairs representing each age group — mother and son and father and daughter. Hosted and guided by Bruce Forsyth and his wife Anthea Redfern, four competing pairs play off against each other, trying to score most points. There are picture quizzes to solve and experts to emulate, including actors and dancers. When just one pair is left they compete against each other in a brief topical quiz. The winner then watches an array of prizes passing before his or her eyes on a moving band and is allowed to keep everything that he can remember. Many famous guests take part in the programme and add much to the general hilarity. Guests in the series in a elude Lulu, Harry H. Corbett, Arthur Askey, Clive
Dunn and Ray Barrett. Television One will screen “The Generation Game” on Saturday afternoon.
