Planner to talk
An American urban planner will be in Christchurch i today to talk about the ■ social impacts of environmental change. 1 Professor John L. Hancock, of the University of Wash'iington, will speak to University of Canterbury students • during the day on the i “Changing City in Bicenteni nial America.’’ ’! In the evening, he will ’ address the Canterbury branch of the New Zealand •;Institute of Planners. Professor Hancock has degrees in political science and American studies. He will also be talking to town planners in Auckland and Well- ' ington.
