Rhodesians out of paraplegics

, Rhodesian paraplegics have t been barred from entering ' Canada to compete in the J World Paraplegic Games in Toronto next month, the - president of their association has said in Salisbury. Colonel Don Grainger said they could also face expulsion from the Stoke Mande- [ ville Organisation, which controls sport for handicapped athletes, when it i; holds a conference at the games. i Colonel Grainger said. “The Stoke Mandeville invitation to the paralympics was issued to us early this; , year. Contained in the same Jletter was a note that ad- ! vised us that Rhodesians! would not be granted nonimmigrant visas into Canada. “It was pointed out to the ' Canadian Government that the Rhodesian- would travel ' on passports of other nationalities. We also appealed to the Canadians to be allowed to use documents issued by the World Service Organisation based in Switzerland. < "All these proposals were rejected.” he said.
