R. McAra 5 0981 CANDBOY (9) 53 (3 g Sucaryl—Moy; J. Pankhurst, Wingatui). Recaptured his best early form to win here over 1600 m on July 10. Should be better if anything, for that race.

M. Mein 7 0751 RIBEIRO (12) 55.5 (7 g Ribotlight—Vivien Robe; J. Lalor, Ashburton). Broke long run of outs in winning at Waimate last week. This harder.
