Chemist hurt in crash
Timaru Hospital yesterday described the condition of Mr George Murray Harris, a chemist, of Christchurch, as reasonably comfortable. Mr Harris was injured when his car left the Washdyke-Ohau State Highway at Windy Ridges on Friday evening and plunged down a bank and through Irishman’s Creek, before coming to rest on the other side. He suffered minor injuries and exposure. The Lake Tekapo police said the vehicle was beyond repair.
