'Distressed' girl seen
PA ' Hamilton The 17-year-old Waihi schoolgirl who has been missing from her home since, last Wednesday has been sighted in the South Island.
Jackelaine Mary’ Marshall, who was distressed when she left her home, was seen boarding the WellingtonPicton ferry at the week-end. She is believed to be heading for Christchurch. The police said on Saturday that fears were held for her safety. A Waihi police spokesman said while the situation was now not so serious,* he was still concerned about her safety.
