Influenza battle

Dr Graeme Laver, of the Australian National University, will soon be using Australia’s first privately owned satellite, as part of an international battle against influenza. The university’s journal, the “A.N.U. Reporter," says Dr Laver, operating a ground station being set up at the university, will be able to talk, free of charge, to other scientists in the United States.—Canberra.
