Mineral sand find

Alliance Oil Development Australian, N.L., and Metals Exploration, Ltd, have found a deposit of mineral sands at Catabyin the Jurien BayEneabba area of Western Australia. The directors of alliance said drilling in a limited section of the partner’s mineral claims had outlined an estimated 700,000 tonnes of heavy minerals in 9m tonnes of sand, consisting of about 70 per cent ilmenite and derivative metals, 7 per icent rutile, 12 per cent zircon and 1.5 per cent monazite.
