Saigon ‘expels Jesuits’’
NZPA-Reuter Bangkok About 25 foreign priests were expected to arrive in Bangkok yesterday from Saigon after apparently being expelled from Vietnam, mis sionary and diplomatic sources have said in Bangkok. Six Jesuit priests would be among the arrivals, expected to fly in on the regular daily Air France flight of foreigners leaving Saigon, Jesuit officials said. The six Jesuits had not arrived in Bangkok on Thursday. as haf been reported by Jesuit officials in Rome, they said.
