ARCHITECTS New positions of Area Architects are being considered in Wellington and in Dunedin. The duties envisaged are: — to work closely with Clients and Developers. — to assist them in ideas and conceptual design as to the future development of their sites and premises. — to take “design” briefs from Clients and continue to act as the co-ordinating Architect between the Client and the Office carrying-out the detailed design, whether this be the Fletcher Design Group (of which he will be a member) or an independent professional office. — to personally perform with minimal local staff such architectural work within his capability. — to advise the building personnel as to possible alternative designs, forms of construction or materials and to give technical advice. — to ultimately build up and manage a complete architectural and engineering facility to service the Company’s activities in the area.
