Motor Holds keep profit record intact
Motor Holdings, Ltd, set a new profit record to keep its record intact for the third successive year, when group net profit rose 11 per cent to .$1,052,416 in the year to March 31. the directors say in a preliminary report. The profit was after pro viding $227,007 more for tax at $831,007. Under the Companies (Limitation of Distributions) Regulations 1976. the final dividend is limited to 3.25 c a share (6.5 per cent), making a steady 6.75 c a share (13.5 per cent) for the year. Half of the final dividend will he tax-free in the hands of shareholders. The dividend is payable on August 17. ex dividend July 30.
