Macoutes shot The “Guardian” reports that political and military teachers in Haiti are under surveillance after a rare success by rebels opposed to the 19-year-old regime of the Duvalier family. Rebels have shot dead a dozen of the Tontons Macoutes, the family’s notorious private — London.
