Chch girl for Wales

A 16-year-old Christchurch schoolgirl, Mary - Catherine Brett, has been awarded a two-year scholarship to attend the United World College of the Atlantic at St Donat’s Castle. South Wales: A sixth-form day pupil at Villa Maria Girls’ College, Riccarton, Mary - Catherine was chosen from seven finalists who were interviewed by a panel in Wellington yesterday.
