Appointment of Commissioner
Mr R. D. Grant has been appointed District Commissioner of Works for Dunedin. He replaces Mr G. P. Keller, who will retire in July. Mr Grant is at present the district civil engineer with the Ministry of Works and Development in Dunedin.
He joined the Ministry in 1957 and worked in various offices around the country before he was promoted to resident engineer in Hamilton in 1962. in 1966 he was appomted resident engineer in Napier, where he remained until his appointment in 1970 as district civil engineer.
