Smaller bond prizes not to be advertised

Because all winners of Bonus Bond prizes are advised by mail the advertising of $5O and $lOO prizewinning numbers in all daily newspapers is to be discontinued, the Chief Postmaster (Mr J. C. Smith) said. Major prize-winners will continue to be announced on radio, and a list of prizewinning numbers in the $5OO to $15,000 range will appear in all newspapers the next day. The full prize list will be available at all Post Offices and unclaimed prizes will be advertised every third month in newspapers and in lists at Post Offices.

Letters are sent to all prize winners at the address recorded in the register of bond holders. It was important that any change of address be reported, Mr Smith said-
